My Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card:

  • I used one of the Crumb Cake bases and coordinating envelope for this card. All I had to do what burnish the score line.
  • The Early Espresso mat measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches
  • The blue DSP (designer series paper) on the front of the card started out as a card base. I trimmed the base in half, then trimmed one piece to 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
  • Using the tree duo stamp included with the kit, I stamped it across the front of the blue DSP using VersaMark ink. Then, I covered it with clear embossing powder and heat set it.
  • Here’s a close-up of these clear embossed stamps since they are so subtle:
  • Then, I wrapped some linen Crumb Cake bakers’ twine around the blue DSP and attached it in the back using tear & tape.
  • Next, I stamped the sentiments using Misty Moonlight ink. I used the included dimensionals to adhere the sentiment pentagon and the circle of pre-stamped trees.
  • After stamping the trees duo in Early Espresso ink on the inside white cardstock, I outlined the panel using Misty Moonlight ink.
  • Finally, I adhered the white cardstock on the inside of the card base.
