Here’s my The Bee Movie card:
I really had to think outside of the box for this one, and it took a lot of thinking. Then, it hit me – The Bee Movie. If you’ve joined me from the link on the C4Galz blog, then you already know I am not the only one who thought of this idea. I didn’t know Pamela also created a card using this movie, but other than using the same suite of products, we have very different cards.
Measurements:
The Sweet Sorbet base measures 11 by 4-1/4 inches, scored at 5-1/2 inches.
The Pool Party layer measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches. I actually cropped the Pool Party thin banner from the center of this cardstock since no one will see it.
The DSP (designer series paper) measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
I trimmed a piece of coordinating DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap.
I also punch a 1-inch circle from another pattern of the DSP for the envelope seal and ran it through my XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal.
The white banner and sentiment pieces were cropped from white scraps using the Stylish Shapes dies.
The red DSP piece measures 5-1/4 by 1-7/8 inches.
The white cardstock for the inside measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
I used leftover pieces of white, Daffodil Delight, and Sweet Sorbet to stamp the bee pieces.
Assembly:
I adhered the layers of cardstock and DSP together using multipurpose liquid adhesive.
The sentiment comes from the Bee My Valentine and Good Feelings stamp sets. Initially, I masked off the pieces of the sentiments I would not be using. However, I found that it was easier to stamp the “bee” on white cardstock and then trim down the “HAPPY” part of the sentiment. I adhered it using multipurpose liquid glue.
After cropping the white and Pool Party banners, I cut the Pool Party one in half. Each end is adhered to the back of the white banner with liquid glue. Then, I added dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the red DSP.
I love that the punch for these adorable bees use heart shapes for the antenna and wings pieces. After adhering the pieces using liquid glue, I added dimensionals to the back of the bees and adhered them to the card.
I finished the front of the card using some of the 2022 – 2024 matte decorative dots.
Since this is basically an all-occasion card, I left the inside panel for the card blank until I figure out for what occasion I will be using it.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

Welcome to the March Stampin’ UP! Demonstrators Fun Fold Blog Hop! Each month, a group of demos share fun fold cards for a blog hop. I always learn something new and thoroughly enjoy seeing the creations of the other demos. We hope that you will use the line-up below to hop along with us.

This set of pictures is for my first attempt. I explain why I changed the way I made the top set of cards in the video.
For this hop, I copied and edited a card layout by a fellow demo, Heather Heroldt.
You know how you wind up down the rabbit hole looking at ideas online and one click leads to another, and so on? That’s what happened with the directions for this fold. I have spent lots of time trying to find the original post, and I can’t find it. If you recognize the fold or directions, please let me know and I will update this post giving the original poster full credit.
As with other fun folds, I will be posting this in the Creative Creases Challenge.

Measurements:
My Make My Monday card yesterday was for another flap card using the Zany Zoo bundle. All the measurements and directions can be found here, in addition to the video above.
The bases of the cards measure 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches.
The inside, smaller card piece measures 7-3/4 by 5-1/8 inches, scored at 3-7/8 inches.
The video has directions for the sizes and other elements of the card, including making the frame.

Here are my two challenge Valentines:
I made these Valentine’s Day cards for my kindergarten great niece and my pre-k3 great nephew. I made 14 of the bear card and 18 of the bumblebee Flirty Flamingo card. They were so much fun to make! I’m really looking forward to getting pictures of the two of them writing out the cards.
When I am mass-producing cards, I get all my pieces done first, then color, stamp, and assemble. I used the Bee Mine suite of products and the Fluffiest Friends stamp and die set.
Flirty Flamingo Bumblebee:
The Flirty Flamingo base measures 3-1/4 by 5 inches.
The DSP measures 3-1/8 by 4-7/8 inches.
I used the dark Flirty Flamingo blend to color the Black & White Gingham Ribbon. Easy peasy.
I punched out the Flirty Flamingo sentiment panel using the Heartfelt Hexagon punch..
Stamp the dotted line for the flying bee using Momento Tuxedo Black ink.
I punched a piece of black cardstock using the bee punch so I would have a template for stamping.
For stamping the body of the bee I used Daffodil Delight and black, the antenna pieces, and then stamped the wings using Flirty Flamingo ink.
Then I punched the pieces and used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere them to the DSP.
Bee Mine:
The layers are Daffodil Delight, black, and white cardstock. I used three consecutive deckled rectangle dies to crop the layers.
The strip of DSP at the bottom is one of the patterns from the Bee Mine 12 x 12″ DSP. I added a thin piece of retired washi tape to the top of the DSP.
The Fluffiest Friends bear is colored using the blends combo sets for Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, and Sweet Sorbet.
I punched the hearts using the Bee Mine punch from another Bee Mine pattern.
The bee mine sentiment fit perfectly in the retired classic label punch.
The adorable trios of bees randomly stamped on the white cardstock using black ink and colored the bees using a Daffodil Delight marker.
All the pieces are adhered using multipurpose liquid glue.

Here’s my card:
Measurements:
The Poppy Parade base measures 5-1/2 inches by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches.
The white cardstock mat measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
AFTER I ran a piece of Poppy Parade through my Cut & Emboss machine using the 3D exposed brick embossing folder, I trimmed it to 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
The white mat under the DSP (designer series paper) measures 2-5/8 inches by 4-7/8 inches.
I trimmed a piece of Garden Walk DSP to 2-1/2 by 4-3/4 inches.
Trim a coordinating piece of DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap.
Next, punch a piece of DSP using a 1-inch whole punch and run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope flap.
I used a piece of scrap Poppy Parade cardstock for the sentiment label.
The white cardstock for the inside measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
You’ll need another piece of white cardstock for the daisies. Don’t tell anyone, but I cropped the daisies from the white cardstock mat under the embossed Poppy Parade cardstock. No one will know and you can be frugal with your cardstock.
Assembly:
Adhere the white cardstock mat to the base of the card using multipurpose liquid glue.
Center the dry-embossed Poppy Parade cardstock on the white cardstock mat and adhere using liquid glue.
After adhering the Garden Walk DSP to the white cardstock mat, wrap a piece of white ribbon around the layers and tie in a square knot.
Add glue dots to the corners of the white cardstock layer and then apply liquid glue. Adhere to the dry-embossed piece of Poppy Parade.
HINT: I added glue dots to the corners and also used liquid glue so I wouldn’t need to use dimensionals to accommodate the ribbon.
After cropping the daisies using the Cheerful Daisy dies, I ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine using one of the basics embossing folders. The set of three basics embossing folders are available in the online exclusives products.
Wipe a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock using your embossing buddy, and then stamp the sentiment using VersaMark ink.
After adding white embossing powder to the ink, heat set it with your heat tool.
Crop the sentiment using the label die from Cheerful Daisies die set.
Add dimensionals under the daisies and adhere to the front of the card.
Use liquid glue to adhere the sentiment to the top of the daisies.
Stamp your sentiment for the inside on the white cardstock using Poppy Parade ink.
After you stamp your sentiment, adhere the inside white cardstock using liquid glue.
HINT: I’ve learned that I need to stamp the sentiment before I adhere the inside cardstock. Cardstock has two sides for a reason, and if you stamp before you adhere, you can easily try again on the back of the cardstock. Trust me on this.
With that, I’d completed this easy-peasy coordinated birthday card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

Here’s my card:
For this card I let the O Holy Night DSP (designer series paper) do all the work. The stars are definitely lighting the way.
Measurements:
The Night of Navy base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches.
The Boho Blue mat measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
The O Holy Night DSP measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
Trim a coordinating piece of DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap. I used a piece of scrap DSP to punch a 1-inch circle for the envelope seal. Run the punched circle through your XYRON create-a-sticker for the seal.
The white cardstock for the inside measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
I added a strip of the same piece of DSP to the side of the inside white cardstock. This strip measures 3/4 by 5-1/4 inches.
The sentiment panel was cropped from a scrap of Night of Navy cardstock.
Putting It Together:
Adhere the DSP to the Boho Blue cardstock using multipurpose liquid glue.
Then, adhere the Boho Blue to the Night of Navy cardstock using liquid glue.
Wipe the scrap of Night of Navy cardstock with your embossing buddy.
Stamp the sentiment using VersaMark ink on the navy cardstock and cover it with white embossing powder.
Heat set the powder using your heat tool.
Crop the sentiment using a die from Countryside Corners.
Wind a length of Night of Navy ribbon back and forth under the sentiment and adhere using tear & tape.
Add dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhere it to the DSP.
Add three Night of Navy dots to the bottom, left-hand corner of the card.
Using liquid glue, adhere the strip of DSP to the white panel for the inside.
Stamp the sentiment using Night of Navy ink.
Adhere the white inside piece using multipurpose liquid glue.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.
