I wanted to make my own Easter cards and was waiting until Spring Break started on Holy Thursday (procrastination, I know). I realized Thursday night that I’d left all my Easter stamps on my desk at school, so I had to improvise. That’s where the circle/scallop/dragonfly comes into play. I had the Dapper Denim ink and DSP, and I improvised, but wasn’t at all happy. So, I finally broke down and went to school to get my Easter stamps. That’s when I made the rest of the cards.
I made 12 of the lamb cards using the Easter lamb stamp set (masking off the “Happy Easter” part of the stamp), the sentiment is from Simply Scripted (retired), and the inks and cardstock were In Colors from 2013-2015.
I then made the other Dapper Denim Easter/Enjoy your day cards.

Match This Sketch, #172 challenge card:
As I have said, I just love this paper! Botantical Gardens again, Mint Macaron background, Hello Honey cardstock and Cajun Craze ink with the Simply Falling EF, turned on it’s side. I used the Petite Petals punch again, the Triple Banner Punch, and the Botanical Gardens washi tape. I also needed a little something extra, so I included 3 Cajun Craze candy dots for the centers of the 3 flowers. Odd numbers are pleasing to the eye, and when using 3 of some kind of embellishment, a triangle pattern creates movement. I owe my upline, Brian King of stampingwithbrian.com, a nickle because I used his squinty eyes technique to make sure the card was balanced.
