It’s been a while since I have posted anything. I was working on an order of 40 baby shower invitations and they turned out adorable! Of course, I didn’t take a picture before I delivered them. I’ve made cards for challenges and then didn’t get them posted in time. I have a bunch of cards of which I didn’t take pictures. So, here’s a bunch of cards I’ve done this Thanksgiving week. Sometime soon, before Sunday, I have a pile of papers to grade and plans to write. Choices: relax in my blue room (AKA my room of random stuff) or do schoolwork…………….
My daughter saw some of the Christmas cards I made and decided she wanted a dozen. I was gifted the Quilted Christmas DSP stack at #WCMDAtlanta2017 and so I used a bunch of it for these cards. I used some gold metallic enamel shapes and some silver rhinestones for the accents on the cards.
Last night, Wednesday, I saw a beautiful Lovely as a Tree eclipse card from www.stampingcreationswithmarilyn.com on one of the demo pages on FB. I commented how the card is CASE worthy, and then stayed up way too late CASE’ing this card. Here are my CASEs. The very back layer is done in Always Artichoke, the middle layer is a stamped off Mossy Meadow, and the large trees in the front is Mossy Meadow. LOVE these cards! (Note to self: it’s much, much easier to use a roll of foam tape instead of dimensionals!)
I sent these pictures to my daughter and, of course, she now wants some of the NOEL card as well. They are beautiful, don’t you think?
Tonight, I went back to the blue room to create a couple more of the eclipse cards and used the Season of Cheer DSP. I was experimenting with background colors and did the first one with Dapper Denim, which I liked. Then I made the second card with the Cherry Cobbler, and I LOVED it! Here are those cards:
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Have a Peachy weekend.
