The challenge this week at Paper Players was to create a clean and simple beach card. Here’s what I did:
My vision was to have just a light impression of the sandpipers (retired set) on the bottom front with the sentiment over it. It just about worked. I asked my DH for his opinion and his first comment was “Didn’t you already do a card like this?” He’d recognized the Beautiful You stamp set and the Serence Scenery DSP. I did use the same girl, but the layout is slightly different and the sentiment is different and for this card I added 3 enamel shapes up at the top. I had to break out my Stamp-a-ma-jig again for this card, and I wasn’t afraid to use it at all this time. Goes to show you what a little bit of practice can do!
Here’s the challenge badge:
Have a Peachy day!
What a great CAS card Sue – your summery lady certainly looks like he’s having fun in the water, with not a care in the world. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
Sue, this is a perfect CAS card! I love the scene you have created and your addition of the sandpipers is so fun! So happy you joined my challenge at The Paper Players this week! XX
