This challenge was a color one with 5 colors, Berry Burst, Tangerine Tango (I had to substitute Tangelo Twist), Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, and Bermuda Bay. I’d seen cards made with the now retired Work of Art stamp set when it first was released, so I thought I would try it as well. This was only the second or third time I’d used the zig zag stamp, and i broke out my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line everything up. I’d only tried to use that tool once before and let’s just say it didn’t go well. It went much better this time, and the resulting card is the proof of that. I love the (retired) Petite Petals and coordinating punch and knew I needed something for the zig zags. I popped each with a dimensional and followed the same pattern of colors moving each one down so it would stand out. I added the sentiment from All Things Thanks, some black bakers twine, matted it all on Basic Black to make the colors pop, and I was done.
Here’s my card:

Very nice! I like the crisp, clean look with the white borders paired up with the black card base and sentiment! The colors really shine with Petite Petals flowers! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
So elegant and fun! Love those zig-zags with a little flower holding them down – the bright colors make this look so modern! I love your color pairings here… Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
You can’t go wrong with flowers or chevron! Thanks for playing at Fab Friday!
