Here’s my card:
This card was fun! I was able to work in 3 challenges in one card, and it went together pretty easily. The Paper Players, PP352, gave me the color scheme in Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst, and Rich Razzleberry. I also used Whisper White paper and bakers twine and Basic Black ink.
The second challenge was from Paper Craft Crew, PCC251, which has a challenge to use something New to You. For me, my new was the Bella and Friends stamp set. All the puppies in this set are adorable and I didn’t need to color this pup for this card. The one stamp has the puppy, the balloon, and the bird. I stamped the puppy and the string and part of the balloon on Whisper White, then used my Stitched Shapes ovals to cut it out. The balloon punch gave me the ability to pop up the flowered balloon. I fussy cut the bird so I could also pop it up and then place it in the same place as it would have been if I had stamped him with the puppy. Added some Whisper White bakers twine for the little knot on the balloon, the string, and the bow on the bottom on the puppy. Love!
The third challenge is CAS Colours and Sketches, # 231, which gave me the layout. I needed the two stripes and the oval for this sketch. I love how the oval really makes the puppy the focus of attention. The strips on the bottom are Berry Burst Color Theory DSP, the sentiment is from the Bella and Friends stamp set, and I used some ribbon in Berry Burst on the banner just for a little interest.
So, one card, 3 challenges. Happiness abounds.
