Wrap it up Blog Hop for InKing Royalty
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! We have a fun Blog Hop theme today – Wrap it Up! The hop is filled with projects that are perfect for this time of year – everything from gift-packaging ideas to bundling up to stay warm. We are excited to share our creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
All wrapped up is not how I feel about all the holidays right now, I don’t even have a tree up yet, but it will be later this evening. My cards are all made, written, addressed, and will be mailed tomorrow. I also have the gift boxes for my nieces and nephews (age range from 33 to 14), who would rather money than anything else, so they are my Wrap it up! for this blog.
Here are my boxes:
I used the Stampin’Up pizza boxes and decorated them with the Merry Little Christmas DSP, which I love for it’s non-traditional colors of Whisper White, Old Olive, and Basic Black. The pizza boxes will be filled with a variety of baked goods (because I am the dessert baking aunt), and I added a little pocket for the cash portion of the gift. These may look more involved and complicated then they were to put together. It’s all about the layers: 3 layers of paper for the top of the box, and 3 layers for the tags. They also didn’t take as much paper as it appears because the white and green shapes were punched out of the layers. Ugly on the underside, perfect paper on the top.
In addition to the Merry Little Christmas DSP and the pizza boxes, I also used the Merry Little Labels clear mount stamp set, Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock, the Everyday Label Punch, 2 inch Circle Punch, the retired scallop circle punch and the Layered Circle Framelits for the white and green parts of the labels.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, The Paper Pixie with Julie DiMatteo at https://thepaperpixie.com/. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Happy Holidays!
