Purple & Green for Cardz 4 Galz #260

I really let the Floral Charm DSP (designer series paper) do all the work. Here’s my card:
The colors for this card are Basic Beige, Blackberry Bliss, Berry Burst, and Mossy Meadow.
Measurements:
- The Blackberry Bliss base measures 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches
- Trim a piece of Floral Charm DSP to 4-1//8 by 5-3/8 inches
- You need a piece of DSP which measures 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap
- Punch a 1-inch circle from coordinating DSP and run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal
- Trim a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to 4 by 5-1/4 inches for the inside of the card
- I used a scrap piece Basic Beige for the outside sentiment and cropped it using one of the Nested Essentials dies
- I used scraps of the Floral Charm DSP for the cropped squares (from Stylish Shapes) under the sentiment banner
- Scraps of Blackberry Bliss and Basic Beige were used to crop the lattice pattern pieces (from Painterly Pairs) under the sentiment
- I needed two lengths of Blackberry Bliss ribbon and two matching lengths of the Basic Beige ribbon
Putting It Together:
- Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere paper pieces together
- Since I wanted the sheer Blackberry Bliss ribbon (retired) to stand out on the front, I layered it on top of a piece of Basic Beige ribbon
- I’ve found that, for me at least, the easiest way to adhere ribbon behind cardstock or DSP is to use tear-and-tape
- I adhered the two squares behind the sentiment banner then added dimensionals to pop it all up
- Finally, I added 7 Berry Burst Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots
- With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal stamp set
