Happy Holidays! This month, the theme is Winter Wonderland. We hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Here’s my Winter Meadow fun fold card:
This fun fold simply requires you to be able to trim and score paper. That’s it. Trim, score, stamp, embellish, done. I’ve posted another card using this fold and you can find that here
I added embossing to the three parts of this challenge, as well as creating a fun fold card, thanks to the tutorial by Susan Campfield. The possibilities are endless for the way this card can be created, and you can find Susan’s video here. I followed Susan’s measurements and directions for creating this card,
Measurements:
I used Garden Green cardstock with Winter Meadow DSP and white cardstock.
The Garden Green cardstock pieces each measure 5-1/2 by 2-1/8 inches, and I used two of them.
The white cardstock for the inside measures 11 by 4-1/2 inches, scored in half at 5-1/2 inches .Score again at 2-3/4 inches from either end.
The two Winter Meadow DSP pieces for the front and back measure 5-1/2 by 3-1/4 inches.
Each DSP piece for the inside folds measures 2-5/8 inches by 4-5/8 inches.
Trim a piece of coordinating DSP to 2-1/2 by 6 inches for the envelope flap.
Punch a 1-inch circle of DSP for the envelope seal. Run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker to finish the seal.
I cropped a square of vellum cardstock using the largest Stylish Shapes square die.
That’s it for the measurements. Next, let’s put the card together.
Stamping, Embossing, Stenciling, and Assembly:
After running my Garden Green cardstock through the Ferns 3D embossing folder, I trimmed each piece to 5-1/2 by 2-1/8 inches
Adhere the piece of the DSP you cut for the front to the embossed Garden Green cardstock. There will be a small overlap of the papers.
Outline the two pieces of DSP for the inside using the Blueberry Bushel Stamping Write Marker.
Stamp your chosen sentiments on two panels of the inside “squeeze box” piece of white cardstock. I stamped my sentiments on the front an inside using Pebbled Path ink since it’s one of the colors in this DSP.
Adhere your outlined DSP pieces to two of the “squeeze box” panels.
Add Garden Green ribbon where the cardstock and DSP overlap for the front. Tie it in a bow or a square knot.
Line up the inside white cardstock panels with each of the two pieces of the front and back pieces using multipurpose liquid glue.
Finishing Up:
After stamping the front sentiment using the Winter Meadow stamp set, I cropped it using the label die from the Brightest Glow die set.
Then, I used the Blueberry Bushel Stamping Write Marker to outline the label.
I used Stamping Write Markers in Garden Green, Blueberry Bushel, Lost Lagoon, and Pebbled Path to color the stamps. For the leaf sprays, I first colored the stems using Pebbled Path. Then I colored the leaves in Garden Green and stamped them down.
I followed the same procedure for the blueberry trio and the center spray.
After dry-fitting the pieces on the front, I figured out where I could put liquid glue on the back of the vellum so it wouldn’t show.
I used liquid glue for the three back sprays.
I added dimensionals to the sentiment banner and adhered it to the front.
Then, I added dimensionals to the blueberry trio and adhered it behind the sentiment.
I decided that the inside DSP panels needed something, so I cropped the leaf sprays from Garden Green cardstock using the Winter Meadow die set.
The Blueberry Bushel berries come from another die in the Winter Meadow die set. Those things are tiny! I found the easiest way for me to adhere them was to add tiny dots of liquid glue to each of the berry pieces on the leaf sprays. Don’t try to pick up those tiny berries with your fingers. I used my reverse craft tweezers to pick them up and place them on the leaf sprays.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal.
Now it’s your turn:
I really hope you watch Susan Campfield’s video or just use my measurements and directions to create your own squeeze box fun fold card. Don’t forget to upload your project to the Creative Creases challenge site.

This month, the theme is Home for the Holidays. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I first thought I wanted to make a double z-fold card, but using the whole cabin on the front would’ve been difficult. I just made a little adjustment, and came up with this idea.
Here’s my Home for the Holidays fun fold card:
Measurements:
The Boho Blue base measures 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches. Score at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4 inches.
You will need another piece of Boho Blue measuring 4-1/4 by 5-1/2 inches.
Trim the 6 x 6 inch One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (designer series paper) to 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
I used the 1-7/8 by 5-3/8 inch piece with two trees for the right side of the inside. I trimmed another piece to the same measurements for the left-hand side as well.
The white cardstock for the inside measures 5-3/8 by 4-1/8 inches.
Trim a piece of coordinating DSP to 6 inches by2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap.
Finally, I punched a 1-inch circle from a coordinating piece of DSP for the envelope seal. To create the seal, run your 1-inch circle through a XYRON create-a-sticker.
That’s it for the measurements.
Putting the Card Together:
Burnish all folds using a bone folder.
After wiping the front of the cabin piece of DSP with your embossing buddy, stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink.
Cover the sentiment with white embossing powder and heat set with your heat tool.
Both the inside and outside sentiments come from the Brightest Glow stamp set. I used Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the inside sentiment.
I wanted to keep this card as clean and simple as possible. Therefore, I didn’t use any dimensionals. Instead, I adhered everything using multipurpose liquid glue.
Adhere the cabin DSP to the separate piece of Boho Blue cardstock.
Then, add liquid glue to the front flap of the basic z-fold card and adhere the cabin DSP/cardstock piece to the front fold.
Adhere one of the 1-7/8 by 5-3/8 piece of trees DSP to the left inside of the card.
Adhere the second piece of trees DSP to the right side of the white cardstock Adhere the cardstock to the inside of the card.
Finally, don’t tell the recipient how basic the card really is.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.
Back to the Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is The Color Purple. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My daughter absolutely loves all things Halloween! I need to get a card, and other things, in the mail to her asap since she lives on the other side of the country. She actually started decorating in September because that’s almost October…you get the picture. Since this is a fun fold card, that means I will also be uploading this to the current Creative Creases Challenge. If you love fun folds as much as I do, this anything goes fun fold challenge is perfect for you!
Here’s my card:
This year, I only need Halloween cards for my daughter, two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Therefore, the only current Halloween supplies I have is this Pumpkin Pie DSP from a paper share I purchased from Brian King, of Stamp with Brian.
Do you notice anything about the DSP I used for the left, inside panel? The “BOO” sentiment goes in one direction and EEEK! goes in the opposite direction. Love it!
Here’s a close-up:
Measurements:
The Gorgeous Grape base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches. It’s scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4 inches.
The inside piece of Them Bones DSP (designer series paper) measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
The DSP for the flaps measures 2-5/8 by 5-3/8 inches. I used a piece of Them Bones DSP (shown above) and a piece of Gorgeous Grape 6 x 6 inch DSP.
Trim a piece of the Gorgeous Grape DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap.
Punch a 1-inch circle of Them Bones DSP and run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal.
I used the Trick or Treat panel trimmed from the DSP. You can see that whole 12 x 12 sheet below.
I trimmed a piece of black cardstock to 1/8 inch larger than the Trick or Treat DSP because the back of the DSP didn’t really go with the colors I used.
I used cardstock scraps for the white inside panel and the Gorgeous Grape letters.
My No-Stamping Assembly:
Tie a piece of the gingham ribbon around the Gorgeous Grape DSP.
Add dimensionals to the back of that piece of DSP and adhere to the front panel of the card. Since the card is bulky and with the addition of dimensionals, it will require additional postage.
Adhere the Halloween DSP to the inside panels of the Gorgeous Grape DSP.
Emboss a piece of white cardstock using the dots folder from the Basics Embossing Folders set available as an online exclusive.
Using the Alphabet a la Mode die set, I cropped three sets of letters and the exclamation mark, including those little, tiny, tiny dots.
Next, I using multipurpose liquid glue to stack the sets of letters on top of each other. I wanted some dimensional, but I didn’t want to have to use dimensionals to accomplish that.
Use multipurpose liquid glue to attach the letters to the white cardstock, which gets adhered to the white panel.
When placing the white panel on the inside of the card, make sure that it is covered by the Trick or Treat panel. You don’t want that sticking out.
With that, I’d completed this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

This month, the theme is All Creatures Great and Small. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I chose to use the Little Monkey stamp set and Countryside Corners die set. These monkeys are so stinking cute!
The Calypso Coral base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches to create a tent base.
The easel piece of Calypso Coral cardstock measures 5-3/8 inches by 2 inches scored at 3/8, 1, and 1/38 inches. Use your bone folder to burnish the scores, creating a mountain in the middle. Each end folds up to attach to the inside of the card base. However, don’t attach the easel piece until you are finished with the rest of the card.
After I embossed a piece of Calypso Coral using the Basics Embossing Folder, I trimmed it to 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
Connie Stewart has a video, which you can find here, explaining how to use the Countryside Corner stamp set and a mask to get just the part of the stamp you want. For the front, I used Granny Apple Green cardstock for the stamped octagon and a Calypso Coral one for the back The Calypso Coral octagons were cropped from the largest die, and I used the next largest for the Granny Apple Green.
I already posted a flap card with the Little Monkey stamp set, which you can see here.
Crop two pieces of white cardstock using the largest Countryside Corner die for the front and back.
Trim a piece of coordinating Calypso Coral 6 x 6 inch DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap. Punch a 1-inch circle from another DSP pattern and run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal.
I used scraps of white for the bananas and monkey, which needs to be fussy cut.
Stamping, Punching, & Fussy Cutting:
Stamp the monkey in Tuxedo Black ink. Color with the Crumb Cake combo blends. I just kept adding layers of color using the dark Crumb Cake for the darker parts of the monkey.
Use the pink-ish color blend from the light natural tones blend duo for the ears and cheeks.
Fussy cut the monkey.
Stamp five bananas in Early Espresso ink and color with Daffodil Delight Stamping Write Marker so the color doesn’t bleed. Punch with the monkey punch.
Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the branch surrounding leaves and the sentiment on the cropped white octagon.
Color the branch using the Pecan Pie blends.
Color the leaves with the Granny Apple Green blends.
The only dimensionals I used were to pop up the monkey and the top of the bunch of bananas.
Use multipurpose liquid glue to adhere the rest of the layers on the front.
I haven’t decided what the back sentiment will be yet. Therefore, after adhering the white cardstock and the Calypso Coral octagon, I temporarily adhered it to the back of the card using some repositionable tape.
Adhere the flaps on ends of the two sides of the card so the mountain fold is in the middle.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

This month, the theme is CASE the Catalog. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Here’s my Rainy Day card from page 61 of the catalog:
I just love everything about this Playing in the Rain stamp set, die set, and coordinating rain embossing folder. Absolutely everything. When I was thumbing through the catalog, for probably the fiftieth time, I saw this card and couldn’t resist. Would you believe the DSP comes from the Fresh as a Daisy DSP? I know! I was surprised as well!
Measurements and Assembly:
Trim a piece of Boho Blue cardstock to 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, and score at 4-1/4 inches.
Trim a piece of Old Olive 6 x 6 inch DSP to 6 inches by 2-1/2 inches.
Punch a 1-inch circle of coordinating DSP for the envelope seal. Run it through a XYRON create-a-sticker.
Trim a piece of this landscape DSP from the Fresh as a Daisy DSP to 5-1/4 by 4 inches.
Adhere the DSP to the cardstock base using multipurpose liquid glue
Stamp the adorable fox on white cardstock using Momento Tuxedo Black ink.
Use the Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Pecan Pie blend combos to colors the fox. I also used one of the natural tone blends for the face and hands.
Outline the umbrella using the dark Daffodil Delight blend.
Stamp the sentiment using Boho Blue ink on white cardstock.
Trim and fussy cut the sentiment into a banner.
Crop the fox using the die set.
Crop the bridge (Crumb Cake) and the grass pieces (Old Olive) pieces.
Add dimensionals to the back of the fox. and bridge.
HINT: If you adhere grass pieces on either end of the front of the bridge using liquid glue, you will be able to hide the dimensionals.
Tie a bow using the Boho Blue In Color jute twine. Use a glue dot to adhere it to the back of the sentiment banner.
Add dimensionals to the back of the banner and adhere to the card.
Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4 by 5-1/4 inches for the inside.
Stamp your sentiment using Boho Blue ink.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

This month, the theme is the New 2023-2025 In Colors. We hope you will be inspired by all the creations the Pals share with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I used the Fresh as a Daisy Suite Collection for my inspiration for this blog hop. I couldn’t decide which new In Colors to use, so I decided to use four of them. The Fresh as a Daisy DSP really does all the work for each of the cards. I wound up making cards for each of the three levels of stampers: beginner, casual, and avid. Without further delay, here are my three cards using four of the 2023 – 2025 In Colors.
My beginner card uses Wild Wheat:
HINT: I used the Baker’s Twine wrapped around the DSP three times and adhered the ends using a piece of tear & tape. Then, I added the bow by tying it around the baker’s twine. The best part of doing it this way was that I could slide the bow over to accommodate the sentiment panel.
I did add a tiny amount of Wink of Stella to the Pecan Pie colored part of the center of the flowers. I have to admit, this was my least favorite color in the group, but it looks fabulous with Early Espresso.
My casual card uses my new very favorite In Color combination, Boho Blue and Copper Clay:
I am going to have to get another pack of this DSP just to be able to have more of the paper using this color combination. You can see another card with this color combination here.
I thought this card would be a casual stamper card because of the heat embossing on the front and inside of the card. On the inside, I wanted something to go over the sentiments without covering them up at all. Enter clear embossing powder.
HINT: Make sure you use an embossing buddy on your cardstock before stamping using the VeraMark. You don’t want any oil from your fingers at all when using embossing powders.
HINT #2: You can’t tell it by looking at it now, but when I stamped the flower on the front using the VersaMark, I had a couple of spots where the ink didn’t transfer to the paper. Never fear, my VersaMark pen allowed me to color in the missing portions before adding the embossing powder. I got mine from Amazon, and you can find the link here. It’s a game changer.
My avid card uses Moody Mauve and Wild Wheat:
There are multiple layers of DSP, all of which comes from the Fresh as a Daisy DSP pack, stamped flowers and leaves, which are then cropped using the dies, baker’s twine and decorative dots on this card.
HINT: When I am dry-fitting my cards, especially those with multiple layers like this one, I find that my removable tape runner is a game changer. You only need about an inch of the tape to adhere the layers and it rubs off with your fingers. I get mine from Amazon, and you can find the link here.
HINT # 2: When using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine, I use Post-It Note tape to keep my dies exactly where I want them. You can find these on Amazon here. I tried the thinner tape first, but found it didn’t hold as well. These pieces of tape are reusable, so keep them handy.
