Here’s my coffee card:
You might recognize this layout from two previous Christmas cards. You can see those cards here and here.
Even though Karen Titus, from Stamping on the Back Porch, posted the directions for this card, I only found it a few months ago. Using her template, its a relatively easy way to mass produce some cards. You can find the link to her post here, and the template is shown below. I only made one card for this challenge, but I have the papers necessary to make 3 more quickly.
Measurements:
The Lost Lagoon base measures 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches
The swirl DSP (designer series paper) measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches
I cropped the inside of the coffee cup from the piece of the swirl DSP that would be covered by the coffee bean DSP
To create the mat for the coffee bean DSP, I adhered the DSP to the Lost Lagoon cardstock, then trimmed a border on the two inside edges
Trim a piece of DSP for the envelope flap to 6 by 2-1/2 inches
Punch a 1-inch hole of coordinating DSP and run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal
I used scraps for the sentiment panel and Pecan Pie coffee cups
Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4 by 5-1/4 inches for the inside of the card
You need another piece of white cardstock for the coffee cup
Stamping, Coloring, & Cropping:
Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere pieces of the card together
Use Momento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the coffee cup
Color the cup using the Lost Lagoon blends combo
Stamp the outside and inside sentiments using Lost Lagoon ink
Crop the cup using the Latte Love dies
Crop the two little coffee cups from Pecan Pie cardstock scraps
Use the dark Pecan Pie blend to color the inside and bottom edge of the little cups
Use Pecan Pie ink to stamp the blotch on each coffee cup
Crop the sentiment using a deckled rectangle die and outline it using a Pecan Pie Stamping Write Marker
Using the coffee ring stamp and Pecan Pie ink, randomly stamp the rings on the bottom of the white cardstock for the inside panel of the card
Adhere the cardstock and DSP layers together, including the inside white cardstock
Add dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhere to the coffee bean DSP
Add dimensionals to the back of the large coffee cup and adhere so it overlaps the sentiment
Add one mini-dimensional to the back of each little coffee cup and adhere
Add 5 ribboned Pecan Pie dots to the angled top of the coffee bean DSP
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set

Measurements:
The Petunia Pop base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4 inches
The Petunia Pop “BABY” Z-fold measures 2-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4 inches
I used the Unbounded Beauty DSP for my card
Trim a piece of the DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap
Punch a 1-inch circle from contrasting DSP for the envelope seal, and run it through your XYRON create-a-sticker
You need two background pieces of DSP (designer series paper): the first measures 2 by 5-3/8 inches and the second measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches
This double Z-card will lay flat, so I needed a piece of white cardstock measuring 2 by 5-3/8 inches for the inside fold on which a greeting can be written
The Pretty in Pink DSP requires 3 pieces: 1 at 2-3/8 by 4-1/8, and 2 at 2 by 2-3/8 inches
HINT: I’m probably the only one who will notice, but I was able to line up all the Pretty in Pink pieces so the patterns all line up
To do this, I first trimmed at piece of the DSP to 2-3/8 inches by 8-1/2 inches.
Then, I trimmed down that strip to the measurements given above
I wound up with a scrap of DSP from the end, but all the patterns do line up
Here’s a close-up of the patterns:
Stamping, Coloring, & Cropping:
I used the (retired) large numbers stamp set and coordinating dies for the “BABY” sentiment, which is stamped in Summer Splash
Next, I stamped the branches (twice), the giraffe, the bird, and the Wild about You sentiment using Momento Tuxedo Black ink
The Wild about You sentiment was cropped using a deckled rectangle die
I was very happy that the WELCOME, also stamped in black, fit inside the Keeping Tabs die
The tab is stamped in Summer Splash, then cropped using the coordinating die (I really wish I’d gotten the punch instead of the die)
The adorable bird comes from the (retired) Fluffiest Friends stamp set, cropped with the coordinating die
Don’t tell anyone, but the little bird actually was needed to cover a tiny splotch of Summer Splash ink
I used the 2024 – 2026 in Color markers to color the giraffe, leaves, bird, and frog
I purposefully left the branches and spots on the giraffe white to keep the elements cleaner
Assembly:
Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere the pieces together
Adhere the floral DSP and white cardstock as shown on the card
Adhere the Pretty in Pink DSP to the smaller z-fold as shown
Add dimensionals under each BABY letter and adhere to the Pretty in Pink DSP
Adhere the Z-fold to the base of the card
I find it easier to adhere the short end to the right side of the base first
Do not put ink on the back of the flap with the bird and branches on it because if you do, the card won’t open
Lay the card base and the z-fold flat and adhere the left side of the z-fold to the left side of the card base
Again, you only need the left 2 inches adhered to the front flap of the card
Adhere the Welcome tab so that it is centered over BABY
Adhere the giraffe , branch, and bird to the card
Add mini-dimensionals to the back of the leaves and frog and adhere to the card
I finished the card by adding two Petunia Pop dots to the WELCOME tab and three Summer Splash dots to the leaves of the frog branch
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set

I decided to make a Not So Spooky Halloween side-step easel card.
Here’s my card:
I wish I could say that I thought to combine the Just Kiddin’ stamp and die set with the Potions & Spells bundle. However, I actually found it on Carolyn Green’s Pinterest account and adapted it for my card.
I’ve already posted a number of cards using the Potions & Spells bundle and you can find them here, here, and here.
I also used Connie Stewart’s side-step easel card video tutorial for the side-step easel card directions, which you can find here. Connie’s tutorials are step-by-step and easy to follow. For this card, if you can trim and score paper, you can totally make this card!
As always, I will be uploading this fun fold to the Creative Creases Challenge where the theme is always Anything Goes with a Fun Fold.
Measurements:
I like to make templates for fun fold card so I don’t have to start from scratch each time. I keep these templates in a journal for easy reference.
Here’s my set of templates for this card:
Trim a piece of Highland Heather 6 x 6 inch DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap.
After punching a 1-inch circle from a different pattern of Highland Heather, run it through your XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal
Once you have your pieces, follow Connie Stewart’s video directions. Basically an easy-peasy card!
Stamping, Coloring, Cropping:
There are dimensionals under the pile of books and the little wizard
I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere the rest of the card pieces
Use Momento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp all the pieces to be colored with blends
Use the following blends combos for the coloring:
Pumpkin Pie
Highland Heather
Crumb Cake (book pages and bird)
Flirty Flamingo (slippers)
Granny Apple Green (dark only for the cat eyes)
Smoky Slate (cat)
Basic Black marker to outline the books
Crop all the pieces
Use Early Espresso 6 x 6 inch DSP to crop two of the broom handles
I wanted some height for the broom, but didn’t want to try to use dimensionals so I used two layers for each piece
Crop two of the sweeping part of the broom green specialty glimmer paper
Adhere the two brooms together
Sandwich the broom handles between the two layers of the sweeping part and adhere
Use black baker’s twine to add a bow to the broom and adhere with a mini-glue dot
Stamp the bubbles and stars onto the white cardstock pieces using Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green ink
Stamp the sentiments using Gorgeous Grape ink
Use the Pumpkin Pie dark blend to color the checkered ribbon
Adhere the ends of the ribbon behind the white cardstock using tear & tape
Adhere the layers of black and white cardstock and adhere to the card base pieces
After running a piece of Highland Heather cardstock through the Cut & Emboss machine using the circles embossing folder, trim it to 2-3/4 by 5-3/8 inches
After outlining the Highland Heather cardstock using your black marker, adhere it to the back part of the easel
With that, I’d finished this coordinated fun fold card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

Here’s my Kid Friendly Halloween card in a box:
My daughter’s favorite holiday is Halloween, with everything else tying for second. I made this card in a box as just one of her Halloween cards for this year.
I found this video from Wendy Cranford for the tutorial for this rectangle card in a box. Her directions are so easy to follow. The first time I watched the video straight through. Then watched and paused it as needed when I was creating my own box.
I realized I didn’t have any more Pumpkin Pie 6 x 6 inch DSP for the bottom sections of the card, so I embossed some Pumpkin Pie cardstock using the (retired) 3D Brick embossing folder. I was also running low on the Gorgeous Grape DSP, so I had to. use two different patterns for the flaps.
In addition to the measurements given in the tutorial, I trimmed a piece of Gorgeous Grape DSP to 2-1/2 by 6 inches for the envelope flap
Then, I punched a 1-inch circle from coordinating DSP for the envelope seal and ran it through my XYRON create-a-sticker
I only used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere all the pieces. It’s already a bulky card, and dimensionals would’ve made it bulkier, which would cause a problem with mailing.
I used the Potions & Spells bundle along with a Nested Essentials die for this card in a box
Anything that needed to be colored I stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock
I colored the parrot using Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake blends
The eyes for the cat are Granny Apple Green, and the cat itself was colored using the Smoky Slate blends.
I used Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape, and Crumb Cake blends for the book stack, then outlined them with a Basic Black marker
I wanted to add some depth to the broom, so I cropped and adhered two layers of brooms together
After cropping the broom from Crumb Cake cardstock, I colored and outlined it using Crumb Cake blends and marker
I colored the cauldron with Smoky Slate blends and the light Black blend
Then, I cropped the potion bottle and goopy piece from Granny Apple Green cardstock then I. used a blending brush and ink to add texture
All the sentiments come from the Potions & Spells stamp set and stamped in Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green
I cropped the front sentiment using a Nested Essentials die, and the back sentiment using a deckled rectangle die
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card in a rectangle box, envelope, and envelope seal

If you like to use embossing powders and blending brushes, creating this card is for you!
Measurements:
The Garden Green base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches
The white cardstock mat measures 5-3/8 by 4-1/8 inches
I trimmed two pieces of white cardstock to 4 by 5-1/4 inches, using one for the front of the card, and the other for the inside
I used scraps of Garden Green for the leaf swag and another one for the sentiment
The envelope flap DSP measures 6 by 2-1/2 inches
Finally, after fussy cutting the front leaf swag, I punched a 1-inch circle from the embossed scrap piece for the envelope seal and ran it through my XYRON create-a-sticker
Embossing, Blending, & Assembly:
Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere the pieces together
After wiping down one piece of the white cardstock using my embossing buddy, I stamped the Leaf Collection background stamp using VersaMark ink
Then, I covered the ink with some Basics Wow white embossing powder and heat set it
Using blending brushes and Old Olive, Garden Green, and Mossy Meadow ink pads, I randomly blended the colors on the white cardstock
HINT: After your finish blending the green colors on the cardstock, swipe the front with a lint-less paper towel to remove excess ink from the white heat set embossing powder
Wipe down a piece of Garden Green cardstock with your embossing buddy, stamp a section of the leaf swag (making sure you get the piece you want to fussy cut) and the sentiment using VersaMark ink
Cover the ink with white embossing powder and heat set
Crop the sentiment using a die of your choice
Fussy cut the leaf swag
Adhere the white mat to the base of the card
Cut a length of diagonal white ribbon for the front of the card
The following set of photos from a previous posts shows how I have been adhering ribbon with a faux square knot:
After adhering the ribbon around the embossed front of the card, adhere the front to the white mat
Arrange the leaf swag and adhere it under the ribbon
Add dimensionals to the back of your cropped sentiment making sure the dimensionals will straddle the ribbon and adhere
Since the sentiment can be an all-occasion one, I haven’t stamped an inside sentiment yet
HINT: I used some removable adhesive to keep the white cardstock inside the card until I decide the purpose of this card

Here’s my beachy card using the Beach Day stamp and die set:
I took the colors from this retired piece of DSP (designer series paper) and used Lost Lagoon, Gray Granite, Granny Apple Green, and Crumb Cake.
Measurements:
The Granny Apple Green base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches to create a tent fold
Next, the black cardstock measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches
The white front measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches, from which I cropped the center using a Countryside Corners die
I trimmed a second piece of white cardstock using the same measurements for the inside of the card
Since I stamped the envelope flap to match the sand and grass on the front and the inside, I only needed a 1-inch circle of DSP for the envelope flap, which I ran through my XYRON create-a-sticker
I was able to stamp and crop all the beach pieces using the inside of the Coutnryside Corner piece from the front and scraps of white cardstock
Coloring & Assembly:
Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere pieces together
Adhere the black cardstock to the Granny Apple Green base
Then adhere the DSP to the black cardstock
Outline both the inside and the outside edges of the white Countryside Corners frame using a Lost Lagoon marker
Stamp the sand/seashells along the bottom of the frame using Crumb Cake ink
Stamp grass clumps using Granny Apple Green ink
Adhere the Countryside Corners frame to the DSP
Using Momento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp two surfboards, three birds, and the lifeguard shack on white cardstock
Stamp Granny Apple Green grass clumps on white cardstock
Add Crumb Cake sand/seashells stamps to the bottom of the grass clumps
Use the Beach Day dies to crop all the pieces
Use Lost Lagoon and Granny Apple Green blends combos to color the surfboards
Use the Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, and Granny Apple Green blends combos to color the lifeguard shack
Color the seagulls using the light Gray Granite blend
Adhere the surfboards to the frame and DSP
Add dimensionals to the lifeguard shack, the three birds and the two grass clumps and adhere to the front of the card
Use an embossing buddy to wipe off a scrap piece of white cardstock
Use VersaMark ink to stamp a sentiment from the Beach Day stamp set
Add black embossing powder to the sentiment and heat set with a heat tool
Crop the sentiment using a banner from the Stylish Shapes die set
Add dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhere to the front of the card
Since this sentiment can be used for all kinds of occasions, I didn’t stamp an inside sentiment yet
I did stamp a line of the sand/seashells in Crumb Cake along the bottom of the white cardstock for the inside of the card
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set
