I’ve rotated the sketch 90 degrees for my card, which is perfectly acceptable. As long our sketch can be recognized in your project, all is well. Life is good.

Here’s the challenge sketch:
I’m 90% certain this card also qualifies for the current Double Trouble Challenge #212 for Thing 1 and Thing 3. For Thing 1, I used Basic Black, Real Red, Smokey Slate, and the leaves on the flowers are Garden Green. My images are the puppies on the front and the paw prints on the inside of the card. I’m. not sure that the paw print die cut counts as an image. I met Thing 3’s challenge by using the puppies.
Measurements:
- The Real Red base measures 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches
- After I dry embossed the white cardstock for the outside using the Lovely Stripes embossing folder, I trimmed it to 4 by 5-1/4 inches
- The piece of black cardstock I used for the paws die cut measures 4 by 1/2 inches
- I added a piece of Real Red cardstock under the paws and that measures 4 by 3/4 inches
- I used scraps of Real Red and white for the sentiment banners on the front
- The Cutest Crew of puppies was cropped form a scrap piece of white cardstock
- The white cardstock for the inside also measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches
- I trimmed a piece of Real Red 6 by 6 inch DSP (designer series paper) to 6 by 2-11/2 inches for the envelope flap
- Then, I punched a 1-inch circle of coordinating DSP and ran it through my XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal
Easy-Peasy to Assemble:
- All the stamping for the card was done using the Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad using the Cutest Crew stamp set
- I colored the puppies using layers of the Smoky Slate blends combo and the Real Red blends combo
- The flowers are also Real Red and the tiny leaves are colored with the light Shaded Spruce blend
- Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere pieces of the card together
- I adhered the paw print die cut to the Real Red cardstock and then adhered those layers to the dry embossed white cardstock
- Then, I used the last bit of my black and white gingham ribbon to wrap around the white cardstock and tied it in a square knot
- After stamping the outside sentiment, I added dimensionals to the back of the white cardstock and adhered it to the red rectangle die cut
- Next, I adhered the sentiment rectangles to the dry-embossed white front
- After cropping the puppies, I added dimensionals to the back and adhered it right above the paw prints
- I wanted to add a little something under the ribbon to more closely align with the AHSC sketch, so I added the black matte dots
- After stamping the sentiment and paw prints on the white cardstock, I adhered it to the inside of the card
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.
