I actually made two of the same easel card, one for my 4 year old great-niece and one her 18 month old brother. Here are my easel fun fold cards:

For the front of these cards, the DSP did all of the work. While this paper just retired at the end of the recent Sale-a-Bration, the stamp set is still available. As a matter of fact, the stamp set and coordinating penguin punch bundle went on the Last Chance list today. (The link for the stamp set will be in the “Supplies Used” section below.)

Measurements:

The cardstock base for each card started as 4-1/4 by 11 inches. Then, I scored each based at 5-1/2 inches and 2-3/4 inches. Make sure your burnish your two folds so it’s easier for the easel to stand up.
Each card has a DSP layer measuring 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
The top layer of DSP for the Fresh Fresia card measures 4 inches by 5-1/4 inches. I decided to trim the top layer of the Balmy Blue card to 3-3/4 inches by 4-3/4 inches. I think I like the Balmy Blue layers better.
Next, I trimmed down some DSP for the back of easel parts. (See below.) I started out trimming pieces for just the cardstock bottoms of the easel. However, the back of the DSP for each was showing, so I needed to cover that as well. Each piece for the top of the easel measures 4-1/4 by 2-3/4 inches. The pieces for the bottom part of the easel measure 4-1/8 inches by 5-3/8 inches.
Then, I trimmed 2 pieces of DSP for the respective envelopes. Each measures 2-1/2 inches by 6 inches.
Finally, the white cardstock for the inside of the card measures 5-1/4 inches by 4 inches.

What I Did:

I was able to punch the penguins right out of the DSP. However, the punch will also line up with the standing penguin stamp in the set.
The penguins got popped up on dimensionals, then layered on the white and colored cardstock circles. I did have to trim the side of the circles in order to be able to fit the sentiment, also on dimensionals, on the front of the card.
For the inside, I used the snow bank curved line stamp on the bottom, then stamped the sliding penguin on the lowest part of the curve. Since the set is a photopolymer stamp set, lining up all the other color pieces happened very easily.
The only thing left to decide was to figure out what I could do to hold the easel part of the card up. I could’ve stamped and then fussy cut some presents from the stamp set. They’d then have to be popped up on dimensionals to hold the easel in place. Then, I thought of using dots, and it worked. The Balmy Blue card has the largest of the black matte dots. I used some of the coordinating Fresh Fresia pastel pearls for that easel. As long as I had burnished folds, the easel cards stand nicely.
AFter trimming the DSP on the envelopes, I punched out two 1-inch circles and ran them through the XYRON create-a-sticker for envelope seals.
TA-DA – two coordinated card/envelope/seal sets were complete.
