Sunday Stamps Challenge 224 calls for any shape tag within a sketch challenge. I need a couple of baby boy cards and decided to use the Welcome Easter cling stamp set, available now in the January 2020 mini-catalog.
First, here’s my card:
Second, here’s the challenge banner:
Third, here’s the absolutely adorable stamp set:
Oh My Glory, Cuteness Abounds!
This was one of my must have stamp sets from the mini-catalog. Too many times I’ve waited too long and then missed the opportunity when a product went out of stock. Not this time. However, I haven’t used it until now. After this card, I see many, many baby and Easter cards being made.
First, I stamped the bunny on Whisper White cardstock. Before I colored the bunny, I used first and second generation stamping in Old Olive for the grass. I also use Old Olive for the sweet greeting. Don’t you just love the heart coming off the “welcome”? After cropping these stamped images using the Stitched Shapes dies,
Since I wanted to keep the card as clean as possible, I used the bullet end of the Old Olive Stamping Write Marker to stitch in the ditch of the circle and rectangle. Then I couldn’t resist using the cute little bee from the Welcome Easter stamp set as an accent on the bunny circle.
I thoroughly enjoyed coloring the bunny using the Dark Petal Pink and Crumb Cake combo blends. Dark Petal Pink gives the ears, nose, and feet a pop of color. The light Crumb Cake blend provided the lighter color for the chest patch., while the dark Crumb Cake blend colored in the rest of the bunny.
Since I wanted a wide tag, I cut it about 2.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches long. This wide piece wouldn’t fit in any of the tag punches, so I created my own chevron using the trimmer.
Pulling It Together
I wanted some texture for the background of the card, so I grabbed the leaves 3D embossing folder and ran a piece of Crumb Cake through the Big Shot.
Originally, I dry-fit a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock for the card base. Then, I decided I needed to pull in the Old Olive, hence the choice for the base.
I used dimensionals to pop up the tag banner. For the sentiment tag, I used one dimensional in the top, right corner and liquid adhesive for the rest of the tag. Dimensionals are also on the left side of the bunny circle, with liquid adhesive on the right.
I stamped “for you” “little one” on the inside along with two little bees on diagonal corners of the inside sentiment.
When looking at the front of the card, I knew I needed to do a little something. So, I grabbed my 2019 – 2021 In Color faceted dots and used three of the medium ones in a triangle pattern on the banner.
Finally, I put a gingham piece of the Seaside Spray DSP on the envelope flap, then stamped and colored the bunny on the front. Then, I was done with this coordinated set.
So stinking cute!
As always,
Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog today. I appreciate your the time you take to read, and comment, on my blog.

Coordinations for Sale-a-Bration started!!
My pre-order was waiting for me when I got back from D.C. last week. Another teacher and I took 12 juniors and seniors to D.C. for 4 nights/5 days. A great time was had by all! But my happy mail was waiting for me, and it was one of my smile inducing welcome homes!
Don’t do what I have done, and put off ordering my wish list. I seem to miss out because when these items run out, they are gone!
Just look at these amazing and must-haves!
This a CUTE card ! I always say TEACHERS give the best directions ! I thoroughly enjoyed reading how you built this adorable BUNNY card ! This set is on my next order !
Thank you! All 3 of these cutie animals are going to be in a number of cards coming up soon!

Thanks, Heather! Gingham just seems to fit a baby card, doesn’t it? These stamps are all adorable.
