Second Time is the Charm, I think

Last night I kept thinking about the card I made for GDP#181, and decided it needed a redo.  Therefore, this morning I created a very similar card, but it’s much brighter.  This time, I only used the Daffodil Delight to watercolor the base. I used the same mats in Lemon Lime Twist and Grapefruit Grove, and ran them through the Big Shot using the Subtle TIEF.

I’m going to go back to the GDP challenge, delete my original card and upload my new card.

As a reminder, here’s the GDP challenge banner:

Here’s my new card:

Subtle, and Not So Subtle Changes

Another change is that I used the thinner, more delicate, butterfly thinlet die. That’s the subtle change.

Not-so-Subtle change is the sentiment on the front.  I chose to use the Picture Perfect Birthday photopolmer stamp set this time.  I had to use the Stamp-a-Ratus and a Stamping Write Marker in Lemon Lime Twist, to color and stamp just the “celebrate” part of the sentiment.  The Rectangle Stitched Framelits fit the sentiment perfectly, and I then used the marker to color the stitches in the ditch.

While the ribbon is in the same position, I chose to punch a hole in the sentiment strip and carefully threaded both ends through the hole and tied it off.  The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals, just like the first card.

Just a Comparison

Finally, here are the two cards side by side.  Which one is your favorite?

Thanks for stopping by again for the GDP#181.

Have a Peachy Day!
