Another Latch Fold Card for the Creative Creases Challenge # 108
Once again, I am honored to be a guest designer for the October Creative Creases Challenge #108. As always, the theme for the challenge is Anything Goes with a Fun Fold, and if you’ve been following my blog you already know I love finding new fun folds! One of the things I absolutely love about this card is that it is so easy to change up the front of the card, as you can tell by my other posts.
Here’s the basic template that I use and revise as needed:
Putting the Card Together:
- I stamped the pears on Darling Duckling cardstock using the same ink instead of adding another layer of paper
- One of the great things about this DSP is that the Painterly Pears dies will crop the large and small pears, trios of leaves, and the trio of Petal Pink flowers
- I didn’t need to color anything by using the DSP and dies
- The only place I used dimensionals was for the latch, as shown in the last picture
- The dimensionals need to be on the right side of the latch holder
- I used the banner dies from the Fright Night dies and love the way this turned out
- This card is bulky and will need extra postage
- I’m off to work on another latch fold card, but this one is for my niece’s wedding
