Paper Players, # 355

#PP355 this week was a tic-tac-toe challenge, which always means loads of options!  For this challenge, I chose the diagonal from bottom left to top right consisting of blue, enamel dots, and birthday.   I pulled out Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and cardstock in tranquil tide, Soft Suede, and Pool Party.  Blue is covered and done.

I just love the Happy Birthday thinlit die, and cut out one greeting in each of the the 3 cardstock colors.  (The underneath layers of the cardstock mats look pretty darn ugly until covered with the top layer.)   I then staggered the greetings, giving it dimension and making it pop off the beautiful DSP.     Birthday is covered and done.

Finally, I used one Pool Party enamel dot for the dot of the “i” in birthday.  I also added 3 Crushed Curry enamel dots randomly on the card.  Enamel dots are covered and done.

Global Design Project, #098

Global Design Project is always fun and interesting, and this #GDP098 was no exception.  The sketch this week was all about banners, with the greeting stamped vertically down one of the banners.  However, I don’t have any of the SU vertical greeting sets, so I just turned the sketch on the side and the problem was solved.  I used the (new to me) Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and am so happy I bought this set of gorgeous, colorful DSP.   I used Pool Party ribbon and Soft Suede ink to finish off this card on the base of Tranquil Tide.  Such a pretty combination of colors on this sheet!

See what I mean about the gorgeous colors!  Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzaz and Soft Suede.
