Tic Tac Toe challenge for Paper Players 348
Don’t You Love When Things Fall Into Place
I feel like that happened with PP348 this week for the tic-tac-toe challenge. I knew what I wanted to do for a baby girl card, and this challenge helped me achieve my goals.

When everything fell into place, I chose the top row of ribbon, patterned paper, and die-cut. Here’s my card:
What I Used:
This card is for a friend’s daughter and I chose the cover stamp based on the gift I purchased from her registry. I had fun shopping, but when I picked up the grey and white lamb print hooded towel and washcloth, I knew what stamp I would use. This adorable little lamb is from the retired Easter Lamb stamp. I masked out the “happy Easter” and used Smoky Slate to stamp. Next came the Petal Pink marker for the ears.
The picked the sentiment from A Little Wild stamp set. Both the lamb and sentiments were stamped on Whisper White and matted with Petal Pink. First I cropped all the circles from the Stitched Shapes die set, and then used the Petal Pink marker to color in the stitches in the ditches. Since I have become obsessed with the Subtle TIEF, I used it for both Petal Pink circles. I used dimensionals to pop up both the lamb and sentiment using dimensionals. Die cuts – check.
Both patterns on the he aborable DSP is from Twinkle, Twinkle. The grey background also popped up on dimensionals and mounted it on Petal Pink. I also used both patterns on the baby on the inside of the card. At first I was going to used markers to color the baby and umbrella, but I am pretty darn pleased with my fussy cutting. Isn’t that baby adorable? The stars, baby, and sentiment came from the Moon Baby stamp set. Patterned paper – check.
Last, but definitely not least, is the ribbon. I used the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle and layered it with Smoky Slate stitched ribbon. I tend to be bow challenged, so I just created a square knot. It was easy to get the ribbon under the grey DSP because of the dimensionals. Ribbon – check.
Of course, I can’t have a naked envelope, so I used some of the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP for the flap. I stamped Petal Pink and Smokey Slate to stamp a spray of stars on the front of the envelope as well.
