Painted Harvest for CTS # 247
I have been working on Thanksgiving cards and, so far, no two are the same layout. I love, love, love the Painted Harvest Suite! The sunflowers are stunning and I’ve seen them in so many color combinations. My combo for this card was a base of Tangelo Twist and topped with Cajun Craze.
To match the rotating bars on the sketch, I used the fern stamp from the set and stamped 3 times without re-inking, and then repeated for each section. The greeting is the same one I have used for all my Thanksgiving cards, and probably will for all of them. I used the new Label Punch for the sentiment and then trimmed it down, same for the matted border.
I used Whisper White even though the DSP is Very Vanilla, but I only have a sliver of the DSP showing under the Whisper White front. I felt like it needed something, so I put the piece of the Tangelo Twist ribbon under the sunflower, which is popped up on the dimensionals, as is the greeting.
