I really should figure out how to resize gallery photos.
Measurements & Cropping:
The Coastal Cabana base measures 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches. I used it in landscape mode.
The Coastal Cabana DSP (designer series paper) measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
You also need a piece of the DSP for the envelope flap measuring 6 by 2-1/2 inches.
I punched a 1-inch circle of the DSP and ran it through my XYRON create-a-sticker using the opposite side for the envelope seal.
Trim a piece of white cardstock to 3 pieces of cardstock. I trimmed them all to 5-1/4 by 4 inches. One is for the scalloped border, one for the inside, and the third to run through the Cut & Emboss machine using a basics 3D embossing folder.
HINT: Trim the embossed cardstock after it is embossed. If you trim it to size before embossing, you will wind up with a smaller piece because of the deep embossing.
Trim the embossed white cardstock to 4-3/4 by 3-3/8 inches so it fits inside the scalloped border.
Crop the daisies from a piece of 4-1/4 by 5-1/2 inch Highland Heather cardstock. This single piece of cardstock will be enough to crop the flowers and the top pieces for them.
Crop a bottom and top layer of the leaves.
Assembly:
Unless otherwise noted, I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere pieces together.
Adhere the embossed cardstock to the scalloped cardstock.
Thread a piece of ribbon (I used the sheer Fresh Fresia ribbon) through the scalloped border and attach the ends on the back of the cardstock using tear & tape.
Adhere the scalloped layer to the DSP layer, then adhere that to the base of the card.
Using a blending brush and Highland Heather ink, add ink to the top pieces of the daisies.
Repeat using a light layer Crumb Cake for the centers of the daisies. I used an almost dry blending brush.
Adhere the detailed layers to the bottom layer of each daisy.
Adhere the bottom layer of Shaded Spruce leaves to the leaves cropped out with the daisies.
Using a third blending brush, blend some Shaded Spruce ink to the detailed layer of the leaves and adhere.
Stamp the sentiment using Shaded Spruce ink. Trim into a banner, and outline the sentiment banner with Shaded Spruce ink.
Add dimensionals under the daisies (make sure you straddle the ribbon with the dimensionals) and leaves.
Adhere the flowers/leaves piece to the front of the card.
Use two mini-dimensionals on the right end of the sentiment banner and add some liquid glue to the left end. Adhere to the daisies.
Finally, I added three faceted gems to the front of the card.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.

Here’s my Sweet Sorbet Cheerful Daisy card:
In the past few months, I’ve really come to love using Sweet Sorbet in my projects. Sadly, this color will be retiring when the 2024 – 2025 Annual Catalog comes out. Never fear though as there will be a new set of In Colors coming out!
Measurements:
The Sweet Sorbet base measures 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches and I used the card in the landscape orientation.
The white cardstock for the front started out at 5-1/2 by 4-1/4 inches. Then, I cropped it using the largest die from the Scalloped Contours die set.
I trimmed the Sweet Sorbet 6 x 6 inch DSP (designer series paper) to fit inside the scalloped die. It measures 4-7/8 x 3-1/4 inches.
Next, I trimmed a piece of Sweet Sorbet DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap. I punched a 1-inch circle from the same DSP. However, I turned it over when I ran it through my XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope seal.
I needed to use a 5-1/2 by 4-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock to crop the daisy cluster and the second layer of the flowers.
The white cardstock for the inside of the card measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
I used a scrap of Sweet Sorbet for the inside of the card.
What I Did:
Unless otherwise noted, I used liquid glue to adhere elements of the card together.
After cropping the white scalloped contours cardstock, I adhered it to the front of the card base.
Then, I adhered the Sweet Sorbet DSP to the scalloped white cardstock.
Next, I wiped down a piece of scrap Sweet Sorbet cardstock using my embossing buddy.
This gorgeously scripted sentiment in one of the new online exclusive products, and every sentiment is beautiful. Take a closer look at this stamp set:
Stamp the sentiment using VersaMark ink. Cover it with white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Trim the sentiment to the desired width, and trim the ends into a banner.
Crop the daisies from white cardstock and adhere the layers together.
Add dimensionals to the back of the daisies and adhere to the front of the card.
Adhere the sentiment banner using dimensionals.
Finish by adding Sweet Sorbet enamel dots.
With that, I’d finished this coordinated card, envelope, and envelope seal set.
I’ve already ordered some of these products and have more on the way. I can’t wait to start playing with them! Take a look at just some of the new products available!
I love the script used for these sentiments. I’ve used the birthday one, and it fits so well on a landscape 5-1/2 by 4-1/4 inch card!
The stamps for these adorable critters are two sided stamps: the outline image is on one side and the animal is on the other. The sample card uses the animal stamp.
Personally, I think this background stamp is gorgeous! Don’t delay in ordering as it just came back in stock. I’ve got an order on its way to me, but this stamp might just be worth paying shipping for just this item.
I had previously ordered the natural polka dot ribbon, and now have the rest of the suite of products on the way. This suite would be suitable to masculine or feminine cards, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Here’s my card:
Measurements:
The Poppy Parade base measures 5-1/2 inches by 8-1/2 inches, scored at 4-1/4 inches.
The white cardstock mat measures 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches.
AFTER I ran a piece of Poppy Parade through my Cut & Emboss machine using the 3D exposed brick embossing folder, I trimmed it to 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
The white mat under the DSP (designer series paper) measures 2-5/8 inches by 4-7/8 inches.
I trimmed a piece of Garden Walk DSP to 2-1/2 by 4-3/4 inches.
Trim a coordinating piece of DSP to 6 by 2-1/2 inches for the envelope flap.
Next, punch a piece of DSP using a 1-inch whole punch and run it through the XYRON create-a-sticker for the envelope flap.
I used a piece of scrap Poppy Parade cardstock for the sentiment label.
The white cardstock for the inside measures 4 by 5-1/4 inches.
You’ll need another piece of white cardstock for the daisies. Don’t tell anyone, but I cropped the daisies from the white cardstock mat under the embossed Poppy Parade cardstock. No one will know and you can be frugal with your cardstock.
Assembly:
Adhere the white cardstock mat to the base of the card using multipurpose liquid glue.
Center the dry-embossed Poppy Parade cardstock on the white cardstock mat and adhere using liquid glue.
After adhering the Garden Walk DSP to the white cardstock mat, wrap a piece of white ribbon around the layers and tie in a square knot.
Add glue dots to the corners of the white cardstock layer and then apply liquid glue. Adhere to the dry-embossed piece of Poppy Parade.
HINT: I added glue dots to the corners and also used liquid glue so I wouldn’t need to use dimensionals to accommodate the ribbon.
After cropping the daisies using the Cheerful Daisy dies, I ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine using one of the basics embossing folders. The set of three basics embossing folders are available in the online exclusives products.
Wipe a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock using your embossing buddy, and then stamp the sentiment using VersaMark ink.
After adding white embossing powder to the ink, heat set it with your heat tool.
Crop the sentiment using the label die from Cheerful Daisies die set.
Add dimensionals under the daisies and adhere to the front of the card.
Use liquid glue to adhere the sentiment to the top of the daisies.
Stamp your sentiment for the inside on the white cardstock using Poppy Parade ink.
After you stamp your sentiment, adhere the inside white cardstock using liquid glue.
HINT: I’ve learned that I need to stamp the sentiment before I adhere the inside cardstock. Cardstock has two sides for a reason, and if you stamp before you adhere, you can easily try again on the back of the cardstock. Trust me on this.
With that, I’d completed this easy-peasy coordinated birthday card, envelope, and envelope seal set.
