This week’s Global Design Project’s color challenge is to use Peek-a-Boo Peach, Tangerine Tango, and Lemon Lime Twist. My submission card is take 2 for the challenge, even though the color combo was bright and semi-Springtime, which is how my first card turned out.
For take 2, I used the Peek-a-Boo Peach and Tangerine Tango for the sunflowers and Lemon Lime Twist for the fern leaves. Early Espresso was used for the center of the flowers and the base of the card. I wound up having to use the tiny 5 dot stamp in a random pattern to cover up a couple of “oops” marks. The label also helped. I love layering the Pretty Label Punch and this time I added Stitched Shapes circle as the bottom layer, which really makes the greeting front and center.
This stamp set is fabulous, and I have seen some really out-of-the-box cards using it on Pinterest and demo sites on facebook. I’ve recently fallen in love with the two step tiny acorn stamps and will be sharing a card featuring them later this week!
