The Freshly Made Sketches challenge is all about clean and simple cards, which suits me just fine. I needed another sympathy card, and used the Daisy Delight DSP with Tranquil Tide cardstock. The challenge sketch calls for 2 columns of 2 pieces of paper, but I changed it a bit to 2 columns of 3 pieces of DSP. I also matted on Tranquil Tide just to make the DSP pop instead of blending into the Whisper White. It’s my interpretation of the sketch, so…….. I did include the sentiment in the correct spot using the Pretty Label punch. The sentiment, We wish you God’s peace, is one I have had for a number of years, and the manufacturer is long forgotten. I wanted just a little something-something so I added the very fine Calypso Coral ribbon, but it still doesn’t make the card look fussy.
