The Global Design Challenge this week was all about stripes.  There were so many choices of DSP paper, but I finally decided on the Eastern Beauty stamp set with the Eastern Palace DSP and Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers.  I am really not a gold person, give me white gold or silver, but the chosen combination just spoke to me.  My base is Dapper Denim (love!!), with a layer of Very Vanilla, and finally the stripes of gold and Dapper Denim striped DSP.  I used the 3 border stickers in the space between the DSP stripes.  Add in a couple of Stitched Shapes circles, a Dapper Denim circle, a sentiment and circle stamp to meet that part of the challenge sketch.  Squinting my eyes, as suggested by my upline Brian King,  and thought I needed just a little something-something to finish it off.  Enter the gold Metallic Enamel Shape circle to the center of the small sticker, and I was done.

This was a card that evolved from the basic picture in my head.  I now have a few shapes bases all ready to go for another card, but that will have to wait until next time.

Here’s my card:
